Job summary

Casper is seeking a Store Manager in New York to lead daily operations, coach a high-performing team, and drive sales growth. You will manage P&L, inventory, and merchandising, while building a customer-centric environment aligned with the Casper brand.

The role demands excellent communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to relocate if needed. Responsibilities include meeting sales targets, overseeing staffing, and executing business plans.

Qualifications

• 5+ years minimum experience as a people leader in a retail, sales, customer service or hospitality industry.
• Exceptional leadership capabilities with a track record of attracting, developing, and motivating top talent, swiftly adapting to change, and leading others through the fast paced environments
• Financial management experience with success in driving top-line sales, interpreting reporting data, managing payroll budgets, and controlling expense
• Deep and demonstrated understanding of service excellence in a consumer environment
• Excellent communication skills with a knack for building consensus via influence

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed sales plans and increase Casper’s market penetration.
• Oversee Store P&L and achieve EBITDA targets by managing payroll, other operating, visual and marketing expenses.
• Oversee management and movement of inventory to minimize carrying costs and improve store productivity.
• Create business driving strategies and quarterly/annual business plans with marketing opportunities and events.
• Create an engaging customer experience and champion the Casper omni channel journey.
• Recruit, retain and develop a world class service-minded team and conduct annual reviews.
