Job summary

Par Mar Stores is seeking a Store Manager to lead store operations, drive profitability, and deliver quality guest service. You will guide staff, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with brand standards and policies.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and knowledge of store systems. A valid driver’s license and willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends, are essential. Par Mar offers full-time benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Preferably 1+ year of retail experience.
• Strong people-oriented leadership skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Customer service skills.
• Valid state driver’s license and a reliable insured vehicle.
• Prior knowledge of food handling and safety guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Ability to use store computer applications.
• Availability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays; respond 24/7.
• Work schedule expectations: hourly managers 40–45 hours/week; salaried managers 48 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of leadership to the store and employees.
• Support organizational financial performance to help store profitability.
• Manage inventory from all suppliers and keep offerings stocked.
• Follow all cash management procedures.
• Maintain security measures for merchandise and cash.
• Ensure store conditions are safe and report incidents promptly.
• Staff the store to cover business demands; train and supervise; consult with District Supervisors and HR for decisions.
• Ensure employees follow Company policies and procedures.
• Provide a pleasant environment for customers and resolve issues quickly.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment for customers and employees.
• Complete daily, weekly, monthly reports in a timely manner.
