Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking a Management Trainee in DeKalb, IL. You will work with the Store Manager to develop sales, recruiting and leadership skills to become a Store Manager. You’ll train and motivate teammates and act as Store Manager in their absence.

Responsibilities include leading guest service, training new teammates, and maintaining visual standards while supporting store operations and special projects. A bachelor’s degree or related retail experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 months of related retail experience and/or training (or equivalent combination).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Answer questions regarding store and merchandise.
• Recommend and help locate merchandise based on guests' needs.
• Anticipate and fulfill guest needs and create a wardrobe experience.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and sales education to teammates.
• Meet or exceed sales goals and participate in loyalty programs.
• Recruit, train, and develop new teammates; support the store manager.
