Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. in Orland Park, IL is seeking a Management Trainee to support our mission of creating the most enjoyable shopping experience for Guests.

You will perform sales, merchandising and operational tasks, work with the Store Manager to develop leadership and recruiting skills, and train Teammates, with the aim of becoming Store Manager. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four‑year college or university is preferred; or 1–3 months related retail experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service while meeting sales goals.
• Assist in recruiting, training and developing Teammates and act as Store Manager in their absence.
• Lead visual merchandising and manage store operations including opening/closing procedures.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to develop leadership, sales and organizational skills; travel to cover other stores if needed.
• Maintain store standards, ensure policy compliance and deliver a high-quality guest experience.
