Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking a Management Trainee to develop leadership and sales skills through hands-on experience in a busy retail environment.

Trainees work closely with the Store Manager to build skills in recruiting, merchandising, and store leadership while delivering exceptional Guest service. This role includes training in sales techniques, POS procedures, and routine store operations, with opportunities to progress to Store Manager as part of the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; or 1–3 months related retail experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Answer questions regarding store and merchandise.
• Recommend and locate merchandise based on Guest needs.
• Contribute to a wardrobing experience and suggest additional items.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and sales education to Teammates.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, policies, and security practices.
• Lead by example in customer service and selling skills.
• Support Store Manager in interviewing, coaching, and training Teammates.
• Act as Store Manager in absence when needed.
• Ensure flexible scheduling and complete the Management Trainee program.
• Assist in store operations and loss prevention duties.
