Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking a Management Trainee to develop leadership and retail management skills. The role supports store management in sales, merchandising, and operations, including cashiering, displays, register procedures, and store upkeep.

You will work with the Store Manager to build sales, recruiting and leadership capabilities to advance to Store Manager. You will also share responsibility for training Teammates and act as the Store Manager in their absence, contributing to team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a relevant field is preferred.
• One to three months of related retail experience and/or training may be substituted for education.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales and deliver legendary guest service by greeting Guests and assisting with merchandise selections.
• Develop leadership and coaching skills by recruiting, training and motivating Teammates.
• Operate store processes including cashiering, register procedures and loss-prevention practices.
• Assist in visual merchandising and maintaining store standards and product presentation.
• Support Store Manager with daily operations and long-term training plans to prepare for Store Manager responsibilities.
