Job summary

CVS Health is launching a Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program designed to develop future CVS Store Managers through a structured, self-paced training over 16 weeks. The role blends virtual and hands-on learning with coaching from district leaders and store managers.

You will build leadership skills in customer service, merchandising, and inventory management while working a full-time schedule of 45 hours per week. A BS degree is preferred or equivalent retail leadership experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• A four year college degree preferred or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree
• Retail management experience or CVS Supervisor experience is valued
• Strong communication, customer service and leadership skills required

Responsibilities

• Lead and support store team during the SMIT program
• Engage with leaders in Key Learning Experiences to progress toward promotion
• Support store operations as a member of the management team and uphold CVS values
• Drive merchandising, customer service, and inventory control to protect profitability
