Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is launching a Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager role. The SMIT program blends 16 weeks of self-paced, collaborative training with virtual and hands-on experiences to develop you as a store leader.

Your growth path is supported by a District Leader, HR Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and a Store Manager coach. You’ll learn through structured experiences while aligning with CVS values and policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; a four-year college degree is preferred, or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant work experience.
• Willingness to promote to Store Manager based on performance and market needs.

Responsibilities

• Communicate well verbally and in writing to support and lead your team.
• Perform customer care duties to provide high levels of service.
• Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth.
• Manage the store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.
• Actively engage with your leader in Key Learning Experiences to support your path to promotion.
• Support your store as a management team member and lead in alignment with CVS values and policies.
• Engage colleagues in support of CVS's purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
