Job summary

CVS Health is launching a Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program designed to develop future store leaders. The role combines self-paced training with hands-on experiences across a 16‑week period, guided by a District Leader, HRBP, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach.

Participants receive both virtual and in-person development to prepare for a CVS Store Manager position, with a focus on leadership skills and adherence to company policies and values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant work experience.
• Retail management experience or CVS supervisor experience.
• Four year college degree preferred, or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with your leader in Key Learning Experiences to support you on your path to promotion during the structured program.
• Support your store as management team member and lead in a manner consistent with CVS values and policies.
• Engage your colleagues in support of the company's purpose of "helping people on their path to better health."
• Be willing to accept promotion roles with the market that you work in.
