Target’s Stores Executive Internship offers a paid, 40 hr/week hands-on training program to develop and prepare you for store leadership. As a Stores Executive Intern, you will work closely with managers and teammates to learn how Target’s retail business operates and what it takes to excel in a leadership role.

This entry-level program emphasizes guest service, team leadership, and daily operations, with mentorship and opportunities to lead during your internship.

Qualifications

• This internship focuses on guest service and leadership in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Flexibility to work varying hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Retail interest or experience is helpful but not required.
• Leadership and teamwork are key for success in store operations.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the sales floor and backroom leading team members.
• Work with the ETL mentor and store leaders to understand roles.
• Lead daily priorities such as stocking shelves and maintaining a welcoming environment.
• Coach and provide feedback to team members to improve performance.
• Help set goals and expectations with store leadership, and support daily operations.
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience and assist in solving guest needs.
• Participate in internship training activities and growth opportunities.
