Job summary

Target offers a paid 40 hr/week internship designed to develop leadership skills and expose you to multiple areas of store operations. As a Stores Executive Intern, you will lead teams, prioritize daily goals, and partner with mentors to drive guest service and sales results.

You will learn to manage stock, lead daily huddles, and participate in development conversations while gaining practical exposure to how Target runs its stores and delivers an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong interest in working in retail management.
• Leadership skills and team-oriented thinking.
• Open to a flexible work schedule, including peak times.

Responsibilities

• Spends time on the store salesfloor and backroom leading team members and aligning priorities.
• Works with ETL mentor and store leaders to understand roles.
• Leads daily priorities such as stocking, safety, and guest experience.
• Pairs with leaders to coach and train team members and deliver feedback.
• Helps set goals and communicate priorities to the team and leadership.
