Job summary

Target's Stores Executive Leadership internship offers a paid, 40-hour-per-week training program designed to develop future store leaders. You will work closely with mentors and managers to learn how daily operations, guest service, merchandising, and team leadership come together in a retail environment.

As a Stores Executive Intern, you will lead with your mentor, participate in daily huddles, and gain hands-on experience in guest engagement, problem solving, and driving store priorities.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to learn and adapt to Target's technology needs and processes.
• Excellent communication and guest service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily store operations alongside mentors and leaders.
• Engage with guests and team members to deliver a great guest experience.
• Participate in internship program training and development activities.
• Assist with stocking, merchandising, and executing store priorities.
• Help drive sales and guest engagement while maintaining safety and compliance.
