Job summary

Target offers an internship program called Stores Executive Intern, a paid 40 hr/week, hands-on training to develop and prepare you for store leadership. You will work closely with managers and team members to gain an understanding of Target's retail business, guest service, and leadership expectations.

The internship emphasizes leading store priorities, delivering guest service, and participating in ongoing development conversations.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest-facing retail environments is preferred.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with store teams to deliver guest service excellence.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the sales floor and backroom leading team members and aligning priorities.
• Lead daily priorities and collaborate with the ETL mentor to understand roles.
• Provide exceptional guest experiences and support store operations and sales goals.
• Attend daily huddles and participate in training activities and development opportunities.
• Help maintain a welcoming and safe store environment in line with company policies.
