Target is offering a Stores Executive Internship a paid, 40-hour-per-week program designed to develop leadership for the Assistant Store Manager role. Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest-first team culture across the store.
• Leadership and coaching abilities to guide a team in a retail setting.
• Understanding of retail fundamentals and store operations.
• Ability to plan daily goals and workloads to support business priorities.
• Experience recruiting and managing hourly team members and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the sales floor and backroom leading team members and aligning priorities.
• Work with mentors and other leaders to understand roles and responsibilities.
• Lead daily priorities such as stocking shelves and maintaining a welcoming store environment.
• Provide performance feedback and coaching to team members.
• Address concerns and remove hurdles to ensure smooth operations and goal attainment.
• Lead and present at daily huddles with leadership peers.
