Job summary

Old Navy is seeking an Assistant Manager who will set the tone for the store and team, driving profitable sales through customer-centric operations, merchandising, and talent development. You’ll collaborate with the General Manager to coach Leads and Brand Associates to deliver a best-in-class experience to customers.

You will lead by example, execute store strategies, and empower your team to achieve performance goals while upholding brand standards across all areas of the store.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication with customers and team to meet goals.
• Passionate about retail and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Driven by metrics to deliver results.
• Led and mentored others to learn and grow.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, weekends.
• Able to use retail technology.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds; travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies to drive store sales and deliver results with a customer-centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures.
• Represent the brand and understand the retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.
