Job summary

Old Navy is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the tone for the store and lead a high-performing team. You will drive profitable sales, manage customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development, partnering with leadership to execute the store strategy.

You’ll coach Leads and Brand Associates to deliver a best-in-class customer experience, while promoting community involvement and omni-channel initiatives on a fast-paced retail floor.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop team.
• Willing to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies to drive store sales and profitability through a customer-centric approach.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility and execute action plans.
• Perform Service Leader duties and ensure SOPs are followed.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
