Job summary

Old Navy is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the tone for the store and the team, driving profitability and a best-in-class customer experience. You will lead customer and product operations, merchandising and talent development to achieve performance goals.

You will coach Leads, Experts and Brand Associates in collaboration with the General Manager to cultivate a high performing team and deliver an engaging shopping environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years retail management experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong communication with customers and team to meet goals.
• Thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Driven by metrics to deliver results.
• Able to lead and mentor others through coaching.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, overnights and weekends.
• Able to utilize retail technology.
• Able to maneuver around sales floor, stockroom and office and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to travel as required.
