The Kroger Co. is seeking a Store Operations leader to assist the store manager in achieving outstanding customer service, operating efficiency, and sales performance at our Savannah, TN location.

You’ll lead teams, implement merchandising plans, and drive improvement across departments. Applicants should show a track record of coaching associates, managing budgets, and applying data-driven insights to improve store results.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma/GED.
• 1 year of experience as department manager, service manager, or in an equivalent role.
• Experience leading and developing associates to achieve customer service, operational, and business goals in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Experience using KPIs, metrics, and data insights to identify opportunities, solve problems, and support business decisions.
• Proven ability to collaborate across departments and influence others to drive store performance.
• Proven success driving customer experience, sales growth, operational excellence, and talent development.
• Experience managing competing priorities while leading teams through change and achieving business objectives.
• Strong track record of independently leading strategies that delivered sustained, measurable improvements across multiple areas of store performance.

Aufgaben

• Assist store manager and associates in delivering a favorable customer shopping experience and develop associate interest in customer service/relations.
• Assist Store Manager in leading teams in planning, implementing and executing merchandising/operating initiatives.
• Assist store manager with developing action plans and communications to associates on survey results.
• Identify store opportunities with department heads and devise timely solutions and action plans.
• Role model highest level of customer service and resolve issues.
• Manage total store operations in the store manager’s absence.
• Achieve/exceed weekly, period, and annual sales and budgets.
• Drive sales by maximizing department profitability and reducing shrink.
• Engage in regular store-level financial performance discussions and budgeting.
• Coordinate with field staff to ensure execution of division merchandising plans.
• Promote inclusive leadership and community relations.
• Foster relationships with union reps if applicable.
• Communicate essential information to staff for duties, and support leadership bench strength.
• Provide performance feedback and manage labor and supply costs daily.
• Ensure compliance with laws and enterprise policies.
• Support adoption of technology to boost performance.
• Assist in leadership development for future opportunities.
• Supervise and coach direct reports and conduct performance reviews.
• Capable of performing essential duties with or without accommodation.
