Responsibilities

• Assist store manager and associates to deliver a best-in-class customer shopping experience.
• Lead teams in planning and executing merchandising and operating initiatives.
• Develop action plans from survey results and communicate them to staff.
• Identify store opportunities with department heads and implement timely solutions.
• Model exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Manage total store operations in the manager’s absence.
• Support achievement of sales, wage, and profit budgets and safety goals.
• Collaborate with department managers to maximize sales and reduce shrink.
• Participate in budgeting discussions and communicate financial targets to staff.
• Analyze competitive landscape and adjust plans accordingly.
• Promote inclusive leadership and build relationships with local community groups.
