Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a Store Manager/Department Manager level candidate to lead daily store operations, coach teams, and drive customer satisfaction. You will use KPIs and data insights to improve performance, partner with department heads, and uphold Kroger's standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include merchandising execution, budgeting input, and ensuring safe, compliant operations while developing future leaders within the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing associates to achieve goals.
• Ability to analyze KPIs and use data to inform decisions.
• Collaborate across departments to drive store performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager and associates to create a positive customer experience.
• Lead teams in planning and executing merchandising and operating initiatives.
• Develop action plans based on survey results and store insights.
• Identify store opportunities and implement timely solutions with department heads.
• Model inclusive leadership and drive safe, compliant operations.
• Manage store operations in the manager’s absence and meet sales targets.
