Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience as department manager or in an equivalent role.
• Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing associates to achieve customer service and business goals.
• Experience using KPIs, metrics, and data insights to identify opportunities and support decisions.
• Proven ability to collaborate across departments and influence others to drive store performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager and associates in delivering a favorable customer shopping experience and promote customer service.
• Assist Store Manager in leading teams through merchandising and operating initiatives.
• Develop action plans and communications based on Associate Insight survey results.
• Identify store opportunities with department heads and create timely solutions and plans.
• Model and enforce high levels of customer service and resolve issues for customers and staff.
• Oversee total store operations in the store manager’s absence.
• Help achieve weekly, period, and annual sales, wage, and profit budgets and targets.
