Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our location in Laredo, TX. You will act as Manager on duty, lead store associates, oversee daily operations, and ensure outstanding customer service while meeting sales targets and store KPIs.

Responsibilities include scheduling, training, inventory control, merchandising, and enforcing company policies. You’ll collaborate with the Store Manager to drive a fun, inclusive team environment and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive sales while minimizing loss.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and supervise store operations when needed.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is absent.
• Lead and develop store associates through training programs and goal setting.
• Administer disciplinary steps as needed and maintain a respectful, inclusive team environment.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, dress code, and loss prevention measures.
• Support scheduling, staffing, and recruiting to ensure proper store coverage.
• Implement Lids merchandising standards and drive the store’s sales strategy to meet KPIs.
