Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in San Antonio, TX. You will lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service by leveraging Lids’ products and services.

You will oversee scheduling, training, and performance of store staff, uphold brand standards, and collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure a top-tier shopping experience for fans and customers alike.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc. when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through LIDS Training Programs, goal setting, and regular follow up.
• Administer discipline when the Store Manager is absent.
• Foster a fun and productive environment and align work with company objectives.
• Ensure adherence to Lids Brand Standards including dress code and inventory protection.
• Schedule and staff the store, including calling in associates during peaks.
• Recruit and train store personnel on proper operations.
• Enforce policies and guidelines including safeguarding inventory, funds and property.
• Lead selling strategy to achieve KPIs, sales targets, and customer service excellence.
• Resolve customer feedback and escalations to make it right for customers.
• Encourage participation in Lids membership programs and in-store offers.
