Job summary

Lids Sports Group seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Odessa, TX to lead daily store operations and deliver outstanding customer service. You will supervise staff, train teammates, and ensure store standards, merchandising, and loss prevention are maintained.

As part of the store leadership team, you will drive sales, manage scheduling, handle cash, and support store initiatives from headquarters while fostering a fun, inclusive environment for customers and employees alike.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive sales while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal communication and professional demeanor.
• Capable of working independently without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is absent.
• Develop store associates through LIDS training programs and goal setting with regular follow-up.
• Administer disciplined steps including verbal and written warnings when required.
• Lead selling strategy to achieve KPIs and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Manage cash handling, till opening/closing, and ensure inventory accuracy during audits.
