Job summary

Lids in Los Angeles is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations and deliver exceptional customer service. You will supervise staff, manage schedules, and ensure adherence to company standards while driving sales and a positive team environment.

You will play a key role in training employees, maintaining visual standards, and overseeing cash handling, POS systems, and inventory processes to support store performance and the Lids brand.

Qualifications

• Experience managing store staff and customer service in a retail environment.
• Ability to lead, train, and develop team members.
• Ability to manage cash handling and store operations.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling, customer issues, etc. when Store Manager is not present.
• Lead and train store associates using LIDS Training Programs and set goals for sales and tasks.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
• Adhere to company policies and guidelines including inventory and cash handling, and maintain store cleanliness and appearance.
• Open and close the store following the Operations P&P Manual and prepare for inventory audits.
