Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver outstanding customer service. As the heart of the store, you will supervise staff, manage scheduling, training, and performance, and ensure adherence to Lids’ standards.

You will execute merchandising, stock handling, and POS operations, mentor teammates, resolve customer issues on the floor, and collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve KPIs while upholding a welcoming, inclusive retail

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc.
• Manage store associates through training programs and goal setting.
• Administer discipline with verbal and written warnings in absence of Store Manager.
• Create a respectful, inclusive team environment and ensure adherence to brand standards.
• Schedule and staff the store, including covering shifts during peaks.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on procedures.
• Ensure policies are followed and assets are protected.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
