Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will mentor staff, manage scheduling, and ensure adherence to brand standards to create a positive retail experience.

You will act as the on‑the‑floor leader, handle customer escalations, and work with the Store Manager to meet KPIs while promoting Lids membership programs and in‑store promotions.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to manage store operations and staff.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through training programs, goal setting, and follow-up.
• Administer disciplinary steps including warnings.
• Engage team to create a fun, productive environment and align with company goals.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and store policies.
• Schedule and staff the store, including peak periods.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel.
• Enforce policies, protect inventory and cash.
