Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations in Denver. You will oversee staff, drive sales, and ensure exceptional customer service while maintaining brand standards.

You will manage scheduling, visuals, inventory, and cash handling, reporting to the Store Manager. You will train and develop a team, handle escalations, and contribute to a welcoming, high-performance retail environment.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive sales while controlling loss.
• Excellent verbal communication and professional demeanor.
• Capable of working without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on Duty when Store Manager is not present.
• Lead and train store associates using LIDS training programs and set goals.
• Discipline staff through verbal and written warnings as needed.
• Foster a fun, productive, and respectful environment aligned with company standards.
• Ensure staffing levels, scheduling, and coverage for peak times.
• Support recruiting and training of store personnel on procedures.
• Ensure compliance with policies, inventory control, and cash handling.
