Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager to lead all store operations, including staffing, ordering, receiving, stocking and presenting merchandise while enforcing safety policies.

You will train and evaluate employees, manage inventory and cash handling, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service in a clean, secure environment. Open and close the store as required and ensure execution of company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and loss prevention concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage all store employees and staffing to ensure proper coverage.
• Train staff, conduct evaluations, address performance gaps.
• Oversee ordering, receiving, stocking, merchandising, and pricing; ensure standards.
• Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability and cash controls.
• Open and close the store as required; maintain a safe, clean environment.
