Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager in Kirkland, WA, to lead store operations, drive sales, and coach a team of Associates. The role focuses on payroll, scheduling, customer service, and ensuring adherence to company standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include supervising non-exempt staff, managing store metrics, and fostering a safe, compliant, and high-service shopping experience for customers and communities in the region.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in a retail environment.
• Must demonstrate the ability to supervise, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize those tasks, give direction and follow through to completion.
• Ability to set priorities and exercise independent judgment.
• Maintain high quality of Customer service.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of all non-exempt Associates.
• Lead scheduling and payroll related tasks to meet store objectives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, loss prevention, and company policies.
• Provide coaching and feedback to store team to improve performance.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and developing Associates.
