Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager to lead all aspects of store operations, drive sales, and provide a friendly, easy-to-shop environment.

You will recruit and develop a leadership team, manage stockroom, front end and sales floor, and ensure payroll and scheduling align with budget and goals. This role requires at least five years of retail store management, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to coach associates, prioritize tasks, and work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Store management experience in a retail environment.
• Must maintain a high level of Customer service.
• Must demonstrate the ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to train, coach and develop Associates at all levels.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks necessary to accomplish goals, develop a schedule to complete tasks and execute to achieve results.
• Fluency in English.
• Must exercise considerable independent judgement and discretion.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Store operations to meet company standards.
• Recruit, coach and develop Assistant Store Manager and Associates.
• Manage stockroom, front end and sales floor workflows to ensure timely merchandise flow.
• Ensure proper scheduling to meet business objectives.
