Job summary

Ross Stores in Spokane, WA seeks a seasoned Store Manager to lead all store operations, drive sales, and ensure best practices across stockroom, front end and sales floor. You will recruit, train, and develop a leadership team while managing payroll and scheduling to meet business goals.

The role requires five+ years of retail store management, strong customer service, and the ability to motivate staff and control expenses. Evening/weekend work is expected.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Store management experience in a retail environment.
• Must maintain a high level of Customer service.
• Must demonstrate the ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to train, coach and develop Associates at all levels.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks necessary to accomplish goals, develop a schedule to complete tasks and execute to achieve results.
• Fluency in English.
• Must exercise considerable independent judgement and discretion.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Leads the entire operation of the Store to ensure Company standards and best practices are met.
• Staffs, trains and develops leadership team to deliver sales and profit results.
• Manages the Stockroom, Front End, and Sales Floor to ensure timely merchandise flow.
• Responsible for payroll administration including punch edits, scheduling, and payroll reporting.
• Direct supervision of Assistant Store Manager, Area Supervisors and all Retail Associates.
