Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking an Assistant in Training and Assistant Manager to help fulfill our mission of delivering the most enjoyable shopping experience for Guests.

You will perform sales, merchandising and operational tasks, work with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to recruit teammates and provide leadership, and potentially act as Store Manager in their absence. The role progresses from AIT to Assistant Manager with higher-level duties, while maintaining shared responsibilities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Sales Generation and Guest Service: greet guests, assist with merchandise, provide legendary service, meet sales goals, maintain knowledge of exchanges and promotions.
• Teammate Recruiting, Training and Development: assist in recruiting, coach and develop teammates, maintain positive store floor culture.
• Visual Merchandise Management: own zones, ensure displays align with standards, and communicate merchandising needs.
• Operations: flexible scheduling, security awareness, Loss Prevention practices, execute POS procedures, and ensure a clean, organized store.
• Supervisory and Leadership: provide feedback, support leadership, mentor teammates, and participate in interviews.
