Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager to help deliver the company’s mission: to create the most enjoyable shopping experience for our guests.

The role blends sales, merchandising and store operations, working with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to drive performance and guest satisfaction. This position progresses from AIT to Assistant Manager, with higher responsibility and leadership duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and help locate merchandise for Guests.
• Lead by example with showmanship and excellent customer service, especially on the sales floor, fitting rooms and register area.
• Assist Store Manager with recruitment, training and leadership development of Teammates.
