Job summary

Land-of-Lincoln-Goodwill-Industrie in Illinois is seeking a Store Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day sales floor operations, donation door activities, and donated goods processing, acting as manager on duty and ensuring goals are met.

You will train and coach staff, enforce policies, report loss concerns, manage time, perform cash handling, open/close procedures, and collaborate with a diverse team to deliver friendly customer service.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Requires 1 year of leadership/oversight experience, preferably in retail.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Requires CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within six months.
• Occasional travel to other stores/job sites may be necessary.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations on sales floor and donation processing.
• Train, coach, and provide feedback to staff.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed by store staff.
• Demonstrate leadership and positive role modeling for retail staff.
• Report loss control concerns to management promptly.
• Open and close procedures; manage cash handling and banking as needed.
