Job summary

Land-of-Lincoln-Goodwill-Industrie is hiring a Store Supervisor to lead daily sales floor operations, donation door activities, and donated goods processing. You’ll serve as manager on duty, handle banking tasks and ensure customer-focused service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Requires 1 year of leadership or oversight experience, preferably in retail.
• Requires a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Requires CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain certification within six months of employment.
• Occasional travel to other stores and job sites.
• Basic knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; familiarity with payroll and POS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ability to successfully perform all duties of a Retail Associate.
• Train, coach, and provide feedback to help staff strengthen and develop skills.
• Ensure store staff follows policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate leadership and positive role modeling for retail staff.
• Report loss control concerns to the General Manager and/or Assistant General Manager in a timely manner.
• Effectively manage time and monitor retail staff time to ensure that work is completed.
• Assume responsibility and accountability for the completion of job duties and meet production goals.
• Perform bank deposits and related cash-handling duties.
• Fill in for store staff as needed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Assign tasks and supervise Retail Associate and Team Lead performance while acting as manager on duty.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
