Job summary

Land-of-Lincoln-Goodwill-Industrie is seeking a Store Supervisor to lead daily store operations, manage donation processing, pricing, stocking, and register transactions. The role requires customer focus, minimal supervision, and ability to meet production goals while acting as manager on duty.

The position demands leadership, training, and adherence to policies, with responsibilities including opening/closing procedures and staff supervision.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Requires 1 year of experience in a leadership or oversight role.
• Requires a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Requires CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain certification within six months of employment.
• Requires occasional travel to other stores and job sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day store operations and leadership on the sales floor, donation door operations, and donated goods processing.
• Train, coach, and provide feedback to staff to improve skills.
• Ensure store staff follow policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate leadership and positive role modeling for retail staff.
• Report loss control concerns to management promptly.
• Monitor staff time and manage workload to meet production goals.
• Perform bank deposits and related cash-handling duties.
• Fill in for store staff as needed and support opening/closing procedures.
• Assign tasks and supervise staff performance while acting as manager on duty.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
