Land of Lincoln Goodwill is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to collaborate with the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, donations processing, and sales. You will guide staff and volunteers, drive customer experience, and support budget and loss-control activities.

The role emphasizes development toward a Store Manager position, with a focus on training, scheduling, and ensuring policy adherence. A high school diploma and retail leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Requires 1+ year of leadership or oversight experience, preferably in retail.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record and insurance.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within six months.
• Occasional travel to other stores and job sites.

Responsabilités

• Oversee store operations in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Direct activities of staff and volunteers to ensure accurate processing.
• Communicate the organization’s mission and promote diversity.
• Train, coach, and provide feedback to staff development.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and coaching.
• Manage budget and financial performance; monitor loss control.
• Maintain housekeeping standards; keep a clean, organized floor.
• Perform bank deposits and cash-handling duties; safety captain duties.
