Job summary

Five Below is hiring for an hourly supervisor who will wow customers through personal contact and help run a fast-paced store. You will train associates, assist with receiving and stocking, take on Manager on Duty responsibilities, open/close procedures, secure cash, and coordinate merchandising to boost sales.

The role requires at least 1 year of management experience, a High School Diploma, excellent communication, multitasking ability, and a willingness to work day, evening, and weekend

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and possibly overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Wows the customer through personal contact with guests and trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures they perform duties effectively with excellent service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations, staff, and urgent issues.
• Manages opening/closing of the store, securing cash, locking doors, and setting alarms.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training to improve performance.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
