Books-A-Million is seeking a Keyholder to operate as a limited Manager on Duty, maintaining store security and assisting with management decisions. You will lead category teams, ensure excellent customer service, and uphold company policies while supporting daily operations in Murfreesboro, TN.

The role requires supervisory experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and reliable performance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a supervisor role.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of all background screenings.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift or team lift objects up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Maximizes profits and customer service by leading assigned category team and operating the store in adherence to all Company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Operates the store as a limited Manager On Duty in conjunction with the management team.
• Maintains the physical security of the store and is a key-holding member of management.
• Ensures highest level of customer service and resolves complaints to a satisfactory conclusion.
• Maintains category merchandising and cleanliness and ensures operational efficiency.
• Trains and develops Associates within category and facilitates cross-training for further development.
• Facilitates effective communication to all store Associates through daily briefings and weekly meetings.
• Drops off bank deposits and picks up change orders as needed.
• Picks up café grocery supplies as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
