Books-A-Million in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a part-time Keyholder to support store operations and act as a limited Manager On Duty under supervision. You will lead assigned categories, uphold company policies, ensure security, and deliver excellent customer service while developing associates and maintaining merchandising standards.

Ideal candidates have prior supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to team-based success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a supervisor role.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of all background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Maximizes profits and customer service by leading assigned category team and operating the store in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Operates the store as a limited Manager On Duty in conjunction with the management team.
• Maintains the store's physical security as a key-holding member of management.
• Ensures highest level of customer service and resolves customer complaints satisfactorily.
• Maintains category merchandising and cleanliness and ensures operational efficiency.
• Trains and develops Associates within category and facilitates cross-training for further development.
• Facilitates effective communication to all store Associates through daily briefings and weekly/monthly meetings.
• Drops off bank deposits and handles cash tasks as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
