Job summary

Boot Barn in Minot, ND is seeking a reliable Key Holder to lead in-store experiences and support store leadership. You will drive sales, mentor team members, and ensure smooth daily operations while upholding Boot Barn’s mission and values.

This role offers the chance to grow with a nationwide specialty retailer, with responsibilities spanning customer service, merchandising, and POS transactions to help meet store goals.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail sales experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, time management and organization skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
• Up to 10% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed expectations to build customer relationships.
• Become an expert in product categories and communicate knowledge to customers.
• Maintain and achieve measurable goals (UPT, ADT, add-ons, data capture).
• Be informed about current promotions and advertisements.
• Assist with merchandising, floor moves, setup and housekeeping.
• Process merchandise and monitor stock replenishment.
• Complete all sales transactions at POS accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop skills and improve metrics.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and comply with attendance policies.
• Adhere to laws and company policies.
