Job summary

Boot Barn is hiring a Key Holder to lead in-store experiences, assist the leadership team, and mentor partners while delivering expert product knowledge and strong POS proficiency. They will help drive sales, maintain merchandising standards, and ensure smooth opening/closing procedures in a dynamic retail environment.

This role requires availability for varied shifts, including nights and weekends, and travel up to 10% to support nearby stores.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of retail sales experience.
• Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, time management and organization skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts to meet business needs including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
• Up to 10% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Become an expert in product categories; communicate product knowledge to the customer.
• Maintain and achieve measurable goals, including UPT, ADT, add-ons and customer information capture rates.
• Be informed of current merchandise promotions and advertisements.
• Maintain merchandising standards and assist in floor moves, display maintenance, and store housekeeping.
• Assist with processing merchandise and replenishing floor stock.
• Handle sales transactions accurately at POS registers.
• Partner with store leadership to develop skills and improve metrics.
• Complete opening/closing procedures per company standards.
• Enforce all policies and local/state laws.
• Demonstrate high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.
