Job summary

Meijer in Williamsbur g, MI is seeking a Store HR Representative to provide HR support to store leadership. You will coach leadership on HR matters, manage staffing and onboarding, and partner with the regional HR team on talent development and total rewards programs.

You will also assist with employee relations, policy guidance, and resolving workplace issues while supporting recruitment efforts and ensuring effective communication across the store workforce.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Human Resources preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to facilitate groups.
• Ability to lead, coach and build positive relationships with store leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist with staffing, interviewing and selection for leadership and non-leadership roles; manage applications.
• Oversee onboarding, orientation and training to drive engagement and retention.
• Support engagement initiatives (mTeam, mCulture, mPerformance) and effective communication across the team.
• Assist with talent management reporting, development plans, and progress tracking.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, dispute resolution, and EEO matters.
• Assist with policy guidance on compensation, payroll, benefits, and disability services.
