Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Store HR Representative to deliver HR support to store leadership, guiding staffing, onboarding, training, and employee relations while partnering with the regional HR team to align with HR goals that drive store success.

You will manage applicant tracking, orient new team members, promote engagement through HR programs, and provide guidance on development plans and policy compliance to help retain talent and ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Associate or higher in HR preferred.
• Ability to lead, communicate clearly and collaborate with teams.
• Experience with staffing, onboarding, training, and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support to store leadership on staffing, onboarding, and employee relations.
• Partner with store leadership and regional HR to align HR goals.
• Manage applicant tracking and interview processes for leadership and non-leadership roles.
• Oversee onboarding and training to drive engagement and retention.
• Promote engagement through HR initiatives and effective communication with team members.
• Provide guidance on career development resources, development plans, and training completion.
• Offer consultation on employee relations, policy adherence, and problem resolution.
