Meijer in Michigan is seeking a Store HR Representative to partner with store leadership, guiding staffing, onboarding, and employee relations. This role focuses on coaching, policy guidance, and aligning HR initiatives with business goals.

The position emphasizes effective communication, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple HR programs, including talent development and total rewards, in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualificações

• High School or equivalency required; Associate Degree or above in HR preferred.
• Ability to present thought leadership and be approachable.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Excellent communication and facilitating large and small groups.

Responsabilidades

• Assist staffing, interview and selection for store roles and manage applicant tracking.
• Oversee onboarding and training to drive engagement and retention.
• Lead engagement initiatives (mTeam, mCulture, mPerformance) and communicate with team members.
• Ensure clear communication to all team members and follow up with leadership.
• Support talent management, development, acquisition and total rewards processes.
• Provide guidance on career development resources and track development plans and progress.
• Consult with leadership on employee relations, dispute resolution and EEO matters.
• Assist with investigations of complaints or policy violations.
