Job summary

Meijer, Inc. is seeking a Store HR Representative to support staffing, onboarding, and employee relations in our Michigan stores.

You will partner with store leadership to execute HR programs, advise on workforce planning, and ensure compliant, engaging onboarding and training for team members. The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to talent development and retention.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required. Associate Degree or above in Human Resources preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage staffing, onboarding, and employee relations.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills with confidentiality.
• Schedule flexibility when business needs exist.

Responsibilities

• Assist with staffing, interview and selection for leadership and non-leadership roles; manage applications and ATS.
• Oversee effective orientation, onboarding and training to drive engagement and retention.
• Champion engagement through HR programs and drive performance improvements.
• Provide guidance to leadership on career development resources and progress tracking.
