Job summary

Smoothie King seeks a General Manager to serve as brand ambassador and drive a highly productive store environment. You will lead a motivated team, ensure an exceptional guest experience, and balance corporate priorities with strategic and operational leadership.

The role requires curiosity, willingness to take on new challenges, and ongoing skill development to support our purpose of inspiring healthy, active lifestyles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s in business or hospitality preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ managerial or supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail service business.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and the community.
• Ability to work the hours needed to run your store, including varied days, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Knowledgeable of general POS functionality.
• Experience with OSHA, EEOC, and other laws.
• ServSafe Certification.

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop, and lead the team to provide a great guest experience and fulfill our mission.
• Use P&L, Daily Business Review, Cash & Deposit Log, and Data Central scheduling/inventory tools to achieve operational excellence.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers (inventory management, shipments).
• Review KPIs to identify problems and opportunities for improvement and adjust accordingly.
• Manage cash activities for the store (daily deposits).
• Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines by team members.
• Own and promote brand standards in alignment with company vision.
• Ensure store appearance and cleanliness meet brand standards.
• Drive company programs through action planning and inspiring the team.
• Develop local store marketing plans and community outreach.
