Job summary

Smoothie King is seeking a General Manager to lead a store team and deliver an extraordinary guest experience, while focusing on strategic and operational excellence. The GM will grow with the role, show curiosity, take on challenges, and lift the team by developing new skills to support our mission.

Responsibilities include hiring and developing staff, managing operations and inventory, ensuring food safety, and driving local marketing aligned with brand standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a manager or supervisor of a team in a restaurant or similar type of retail customer service business.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills - you are energized by working with people.
• Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes our culture, values, and mission.
• Ability to work the hours needed to run your store effectively, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Enthusiastically hire, develop, and lead the team at your store to provide a great guest experience and fulfill our mission.
• Use operational tools (P&L, Daily Business Review, Cash & Deposit Log, Data Central) to achieve excellence.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and manage inventory and shipments.
• Review store KPIs to identify issues and opportunities and adjust accordingly.
• Manage cash activities (daily deposits).
• Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines and train team members accordingly.
• Own and promote brand standards in alignment with company vision.
• Drive store appearance and cleanliness to meet brand standards.
• Lead implementation of company programs and inspire the team to meet standards.
• Develop local store marketing plans and community outreach for brand initiatives.
• Recognize and reinforce team accomplishments using existing and new methods.
