Job summary

Community Choice Financial Family of Brands is hiring a General Manager to lead a store, coach the team, and drive profitability while delivering a white-glove customer experience. You will supervise operations, training, and compliance, and work to meet KPIs and sales goals through loans, pawn products, and local marketing initiatives.

The role requires strong communication skills, leadership experience in retail or financial services, and the ability to manage cash and security.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of supervisory/leadership experience in retail, financial, customer service, or related industries.
• Operations leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle for daily use (mileage compensated).
• Ability to operate phone, POS, Microsoft Office, and other systems.
• Must be at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama).
• Background check required as per applicable law.
• Ability to meet physical demands (standing, lifting up to 25 pounds, mobility).

Responsibilities

• Oversee, coach, and develop all store team members; train on systems, policies, compliance, account management, recovery, and daily performance reports.
• Manage store performance and KPIs; analyze and train teams on performance reports.
• Lead team to reach or exceed sales goals by offering loan or pawn products; identify local marketing strategies; build partnerships; obtain referrals; participate in community events.
• Supervise cash handling, vault, deposits, and loss prevention; ensure proper opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure a compliant work environment per company policies and laws.
• Maintain a professional store atmosphere; oversee planograms and marketing materials.
• Utilize personal vehicle for bank deposits and company business.
• Work in a fast-paced environment; communicate effectively with customers and team members; handle multiple tasks.
• Maintain a full-time in-person schedule, including some weekend hours (minimum 40 hours/week); follow brand-recruiter guidance for current hourly requirements.
